LePage PL Acousti-Seal Vapour Barrier & Sound Reduction Adhesive is made with a unique blend of synthetic rubber and polymers to bond polyethylene vapour barrier films to metal, concrete, masonry, asbestos, gypsum, board, plaster, and wood. This provides an efficient seal to reduce airborne sound transmission in wall assembly systems. Our versatile adhesive can also be used as bedding compound over vibrating elements, electrical boxes, or other items recessed in (or passing through) walls. LePage PL Acousti-Seal is incredibly durable, too, remaining flexible at extremely low temperatures and resisting water even when immersed. Since this adhesive does not dry, it’s normal for it to accumulate dirt, but this won’t affect its functionality. For best results, use LePage PL Acousti-Seal in concealed areas only.
